Returns & Exchanges

Online Purchases

Items that are eligible for exchanges must be returned to our shipping department and cannot be returned to a store.

– You will need the packing list that came with your order.
– Shipping will be refunded only if the item was shipped incorrectly, damaged or defective and it is the only item on the order.
– Item must be returned in original condition and in original packaging. Items that are returned defaced or damaged will not be eligible for a refund or return.
– There is a 20% restocking fee on all returned.

Online orders where PayPal was used as the form of payment, must be returned to the distribution center.

Returning Salon Furniture / Equipment Purchased Online

– Equipment purchased online may be returned only to shipping department.
– There is a 20% restocking fee on all returned furniture or equipment merchandise.
– Equipment/ products returns of $150 or more require authorization. Please email info@borderbeautyinc.com for authorization.
– For health and safety reasons, special restrictions apply on some items, such as foot spas, skincare equipment, etc.

Special Restrictions

– Electrical items and shears may be returned for exchange only with an original receipt , and dated within 7 days of purchase.
– Synthetic and human hair, clipper and other blades, body jewelry, ear piercing and piercing implements and fashion earrings may not be returned for any reason.
– Promotional items and free items must be returned with the merchandise it was offered with in order for an exchange or refund to be processed.
– Promotional and free items are non-returnable by themselves.

In-Store Purchases

In general, we will happily accept returned merchandise purchased at any of our store locations regardless of which store actually sold the item(s). Items purchased in store cannot be returned to our distribution center. Items purchased in store and shipped to any warehouse location cannot be returned and sender will not be issued a credit or refund.

Except for Special Restrictions stated below, you must have an original receipt dated within 7 days of purchase for a refund or exchange. All refunds will be made to the original form of payment.

– There are special return restrictions on electrical items, shears, hair, clipper blades, body jewelry, ear piercing and piercing implements, promotional items, free items, and equipment. See below for more details.
